Cross Sound Ferry from New London, Connecticut to Orient, NY to Greenport's North Ferry to Shelter Island.
FROM THE SOUTH AND WEST:
Hampton Jitney Bus from Manhattan to Greenport
Long Island Railroad from Manhattan to Greenport
Car- Drive out the Long Island Expressway (I-495) to Greenport, NY via Route 25 eastbound.
FROM THE NORTH FORK, GREENPORT:
The North Ferry travels to Shelter Island every 15-20 minutes from Greenport, NY. No reservation needed. Cash only.
Follow Route 114 for 2.2 miles to the Shelter Island Presbyterian Church, 32 North Ferry Road.
FROM THE SOUTH FORK, NORTH HAVEN:
The South Ferry travels to Shelter Island every 15-20 minutes from North Haven, NY. Cash only. Follow Route 114 for 2.2 miles to the Shelter Island Presbyterian Church, 32 North Ferry Road.
(The church is the same distance from either ferry!)
